just 500 meters from the front line in Eastern Ukraine.

The day starts early as it is time to take
care of the animals – the family’s main source of income.
Sergei sells the milk around the village and Sonia heads off to school, which has opened again.
But nothing is like before.
What is the main wish of people affected by the war?
The Kluyevi family was supported by the ACCESS consortium
funded by EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid
Operations. They received a cash grant to support their livelihood - Sergei finally could afford to buy a mini-tractor.
Sonia’s school is also receiving safe water thanks to this collaboration.
